Today is Losar : Tibetan New Year

.
May it be a better year for the Tibetan people
24 of whom have self-immolated in the last year
(12 of these since Jan 2012)
to protest against the Chinese government's ongoing repression of Tibetan culture.

Yesterday the exiled Tibetan Prime Minister Lobsang Sangay was interviewed by Emma Alberici on ABC.TV Late Line .

On a brighter Tibetan note, a very positive one, we recently received a printed invitation for the exhibition THREE REALMS: Gonkar Gyatso. (Griffith University Gallery/ University of Queensland Art Museum/ Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane)
